Last year our SWGA family became a little closer as we came together to honor and acknowlege several members of our group who have been affected by cancer. It was heartwarming and uplifting to share our stories, and it reminded me that SWGA is more than just golf. AND, we raised over $1,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation! We will once again provide the opportunity to give to this worthy cause by hosting another Rally for the Cure at Savannah Quarters on October 25th. Costumes, cart decorations and pink-pink-pink are in order! ~ shauna ~ Rally for the Cure® is a grassroots program that works to spread awareness about breast health and breast cancer in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Awareness is a crucial step in eliminating breast cancer forever. When detected early, the breast cancer survival rate is 98%. Each Rally event works to educate women about breast health and serve as a reminder about the importance of annual screenings. Greater awareness and early detection result in more lives saved. Join us for a fun, exciting day of activities to support Rally for the Cure, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and breast cancer awareness.
